At pymetrics we know that people are your company’s most valuable asset. That’s why we not only built our platform around enabling companies to identify their highest-potential candidates, but also why we care deeply about our own employees & the individuals who lead them.

pymetrics is thrilled to have welcomed five new members to our leadership team since the beginning of the year, who work together daily across different functions of the business to bring our mission to life. Read more below about what the newest members of our team are bringing to pymetrics, and where they hope to make the greatest impact:

Martine Cadet, VP Social Impact

Martine Cadet leads Social Impact at pymetrics. She is focused on realizing our mission of Fairness and Equality for all by transforming access to economic opportunities for traditionally under-represented communities. By creating innovative partnerships with community-based organizations, educational institutions, and private industry – which may include providing career insights and job matching services, joint impact studies and critical policy support – these partnerships fundamentally improve access to the right talent, at the right time, across any and all potential sources. Prior to pymetrics, Martine founded Infor’s Education Alliance Program, which built an organic industry-ready talent pipeline and community of brand enthusiasts across 60+ global partnerships through innovative hands-on learning activities, training, and networking, and joint programming.  Additionally, she has held senior marketing, strategy, and program management positions at Microsoft, IBM, and Gartner Group. Martine earned a BA from University of Connecticut, and an MBA from Penn State University.

Jenn Perez, Chief People Officer

Jenn is an NYC-based talent acquisition and human resources leader with 20+ years of experience. After launching her HR career in financial services as a recruiter and HR program manager, she joined Google in their NYC office in 2007. She spent 11 years in People Operations at Google (in NYC, London, and Mountain View, CA), and honed her skills in talent acquisition and human resources leadership. Post-Google, she’s led people functions at three start-ups, with highlights such as tripling an employee population, implementing HRIS systems, and building a diverse people team. Her focus at pymetrics will be on aligning our people strategy with our business strategy, ensuring that employees have what they need to be engaged and productive, telling the story of pymetrics effectively both internally and externally, attracting and retaining our top talent (with special focus on diversity and inclusion), using HR technology and data internally, and coaching and mentoring employees and leaders.

Alex Vaughan, Chief Science Officer

Alex Vaughan is a machine learning scientist, neuroscientist, and entrepreneur. In his Ph.D. at Stanford University and postdoctoral work, Alex focused on understanding the computational basis of decision-making. His favorite contribution to this field, published in Nature, used machine learning to link complex patterns of neural activity in the brain to simple “explainable” representations of how humans make decisions. Following this work, he served as Scientific Program Manager for the IARPA MiCRONS program at CSHL, and founded a biotechnology startup dedicated to identifying new therapies for serious neurological disease. At pymetrics, he is focused on using the broad toolset of machine learning and neuroscience to advance the cause of fairness in the real-world applications of Artificial Intelligence.  By linking the power of neuroscience to sophisticated statistical techniques, he hopes to move towards a future in which AI-assisted decisions can be made in ways that are unbiased and easy to understand.

Allyson Barr, Chief Marketing Officer

Allyson is pymetrics’ Chief Marketing Officer. Prior to pymetrics, she was the CMO at Attivio, an AI-powered answers and insights platform that was acquired by ServiceNow.  She has built and grown marketing teams and engines at B2B technology companies such as LogMeIn, Boxever, Ramp, bringing experience in product management, product marketing, and traditional marketing to the roles.  Allyson is a graduate of the College of the Holy Cross, holding a BA in English and a concentration in Women’s Studies. At pymetrics she is responsible for all aspects of marketing and sales development across the company’s global offices.  She is focused on raising the awareness of the brand in the marketplace, building a pipeline for the sales organization, and creating a world-class team and engine.

Vince Carerra, Head of Partnerships

Vince is leading up all things partnerships at pymetrics. He is responsible for building strategic mutual partnerships that will leverage our soft skills platform to drive additional business while creating new opportunities to be innovative. He was previously the Partner Director at Infor, where he focused on the HR space around Talent Science, Learning Management and HR Service Delivery (HRSD) solutions. He also Directed Partner Alliance & Channels at Oracle, and led Cloud sales, and strategic go-to market initiatives in HCM & ERP for Oracle’s Alliance Partners. Finally, he joined SAP Markets to build and drive eCommerce Sales to the B2B marketplace, and was able to co-found a new sales channel to drive sales and license revenue through their SI & Partner channel. Vince received his B.S. in Business Administration and Management from St. John’s University.
