pymetrics accessibility policy

Commitment to Accessibility & Actions Taken

We’re committed to making our products and digital offerings accessible to all users, including those with disabilities. We aim to comply with all applicable standards, including the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.0 Level AA (WCAG 2.0 AA). We are continuously working toward making our website, web app, and mobile apps accessible to all users. We have taken a phased approach to reviewing and improving the accessibility of our products and services, and have already taken several actions toward this effort, as outlined below:

1. pymetrics Web & Mobile Apps

We have engaged with Deque, an external accessibility consulting company, to audit our web and mobile apps and provide recommendations on how we can improve accessibility. As a result of that audit, we have conducted a preliminary remediation of several screens within our app and obtained a VPAT, which evaluates the accessibility of our web and mobile apps according to the Section 508 Standards.

2. pymetrics Algorithms

As part of our mission to connect everyone with their best ft job, accurately and fairly, we have always and continue to de-bias our algorithms so that they are as fair as possible. We open-sourced our de-biasing algorithm, audit-AI, in 2018, and continue to use and evolve itas part of our effort to make machine learning algorithms more fair.

3. pymetrics Game-Based Assessment

We provide gameplay configurations that accommodate for ADHD, Dyslexia, and colorblindness. Users can select the configuration that best meets their needs and these configurations will not be shared with anyone. Users who are unsure if they should select an accommodation can send us an email at support@pymetrics.com for assistance.

4. Platform Accessibility

Users with a different medical condition or disability that limits their ability to complete the games who would like to request an accommodation can reach out to the employer that invited them to play pymetrics. When a candidate has a disability not accommodated by pymetrics, our Implementation Guidelines contractually require the employer to provide alternative accommodations. If the user does not have contact information for the employer, the user can send us an email at support@pymetrics.com and we would be happy to reach out on their behalf.

5. Our Commitment to Transparency

In addition to providing users with the most up-to-date information about our compliance efforts, pymetrics is also taking steps to increase the overall transparency of our platform. We are engaging with several third-party experts to audit our system, so that users can have confidence in our technical capabilities and ethical principles. As the findings from these audits become available, we look forward to sharing them with broad audiences.

Questions, concerns or complaints: To request an accommodation or accessibility-related assistance, or to share any accessibility-related questions or feedback, please email us at support@pymetrics.com.
