Watch all five sessions below

Session 1: Evaluate for the Long Term: Why Soft Skills Matter

In this session, Marie Baldauf-Lenschen, Senior Product Manager at pymetrics, will discuss the importance of soft skills in candidate evaluation and workforce management. Learn what soft skills are, how to measure them, and how these evergreen data points can fit into a holisitic understanding of a candidate or employee to build your best workforce.

Session 2: Unbiased Data and Debiased Data

In this session hear from Dr. Lewis Baker, Director of Data Science Strategy at pymetrics, on the differences between unbiased and debiased data and how to use them to build your best (most diverse) workforce. See examples of how you can measure certain commonly evaluated attributes in de-biased ways and steps you can take to de-bias your existing data.

Session 3: Find Your Best-Fit Talent With Non-Directional Data

In this session, Dr. Justin Hess, Senior IO Psychologist at pymetrics, will explain differences between directional and non-directional data, including all of the information you're leaving on the table if you rely on directional data. Learn how non-directional data can help you better understand your candidates in a holistic way, instead of looking for "right" and "wrong" traits, to find the best-fit talent for the specific role at your organization.

Session 4: People Data of the Future: Ethical AI

In this session, Dr. Kelly Trindel, Head of Policy and IO Science at pymetrics, will share how AI can optimize how you process and evaluate good people data. Hear best practices and considerations for how to use AI in people decisions ethically, by evaluating fairness and measuring validity and operating with transparency. Come away with a checklist for evaluating vendors, implementing, and maintaining AI.

Session 5: Data-based Workforce Management

In this session, Marie Baldauf-Lenschen, Senior Product Manager at pymetrics, will discuss how you can use the same non-directional soft skill data to manage your existing workforce. See how this data can be used to help with L&D strategies, organizational development, and D&I and hear real life examples of how organizations are using this data to develop L&D strategies and create performance improvement plans.

About the series

These sessions are part of our series Reimagining People Data to Build a Workforce for the Future.

For HR leaders today, it’s clear now more than ever that what’s worked in the past won’t work for the future of acquiring and managing talent. Jobs and skills in demand are changing rapidly and relying on past experience is no longer the best predictor of future success. Hiring diverse talent becomes more urgent everyday and traditional ways of screening and assessing candidates include significant bias.

This series is meant to help you learn more about the data you need and how to harness it to build and maintain your best workforce.
